Adjustable gouge

It's easy to decorate leather by using it as a gouge. The knife is adjustable, making it possible to create deep or shallow grooves.

The V Gouge is often used for making gouging folds for handbags, cases etc. . The gouge is usually made 1/2 depth of the thickness of the leather, on the flesh side.

The U Gouge can be used for the same purpose, but is not as good as the V Gouge for folds. This gouge can substitute for sewing channels, or for decorative gouging.
