Sharpening aid for swivel knife
With this Sharpening aid for swivel knife. you can sharpen your swivel knife blades far more easy than by hand. Place the shaft of the wivel knife blade into the hole of the blade holder. The angle should be approx. 30 degrees (for most blades). The filigree blades often have to be sharpened at a 16° to 18° angle. By moving the unit back and forth you can sharpen your swivel knife blades. use in combination with a carborundum stone and polish it with a leather strop and jewelers rouge (polishing compound).
The blade should be sharp enough to make grooves but not to cut the leather!
